May 2006 - World Cup

Slam! Sports required a standalone website to house its coverage of the 2006 Fifa World Cup in Germany. As Canoe was not an official partner of the tournment, thanks to trademark restrictions etc care had to be taken not to actually refer to the tournement directly outside of the site's editorial. Hence, the site is simply called WC2006, and was illustrated with obviously germanic colouring and also a cod-FIFA World Cup Trophy macro shot (it's not actually a shot of the trophy, but we figured it was close enough that no-one would notice).
